Serving Christ (https://servingchristorganization.org/) is a collaborative effort of Avant Ministries Canada, Avant USA, and invited partners, and the Churches and Communities in South Sudan, through a unique church planting model to equip and empower indigenous grassroots leaders, through practical education, skills, and resource development. Hence building their capacities for holistic transformation (spiritual, social, intellectual and economical).

Serving Christ has been working with local churches, grassroots community based organizations, government, and other stakeholders – gathering information, establishing networks, mentoring key leaders, and building an infrastructure for effective grassroots-based Community-driven sustainable interventions in its church planting trainer of trainers program.

The Vision

Multiplying Leaders through Training Trainers and Leaders in Planting Churches among grassroots communities – empowered and transformed by the power of God.  As well as equipping and Empowering the Church.

Our mission is to build the capacity of the church as well as community-driven initiatives that demonstrate creativity, innovation and sustainability, through education, skills training, resource development, through a unique Avant’s Church planting principles model.  That there may be a ‘healthy Church in every village’.
